Your choice of vinyl pool liner can transform your entire pool. Some new design choices include rocks at the edges, beautiful tiles, aquarium fishes and much more. Not to mention the large variety of colors, not only the standard blue.

Vinyl Pool Liners

There are basically two types of vinyl pool liners.

  1. Overlap Vinyl Pool Liners
  2. Beaded Vinyl Pool Liners

The overlap vinyl pool liner offers the most economical choice of the two and can be used in an above ground pool, but not for an inground pool as the overlap fron the liner needs to be secured outside the pool. The overlap vinyl liner also come in an expandable version for those having pools with varying depth. Overlap liners also come in a variety of styles and colors, but dies not have the design flexibility of the beaded liner.

The beaded vinyl pool liner offer the most style. A beaded vinyl liner is fitted to your pool and then the top of the liner snaps into a bracket with a "lid" on top. Beaded pool liners can be hard to extinguish from the "real" thing, meaning the real pool liner made of tiles. Beaded pool liners are also easily replaced when the need arises.

With todays modern and sturdy materials, you can expect your vinyl liner to last for many years with a little care and cleaning. Preventing sharp objects from puncturing the vinyl goes a long way in making your liner a long lived one.

Whether the coice is an overlap, or beaded liner, the liner should be rated as how it can withstand UV radiation.
