There are several different ways to line a pool, keeping the water in. Cheap pool liners are the ones made  of vinyl. Other liners such as tiles or cement can be not only be very costly, but the installation of such  pool liners will put a dent in anyone's wallet.  There are basically two different types of vinyl swimming pool liner. The overlap liner and a beaded liner. Of the two the overlap is the cheapest liner.

The overlap pool liner is pretty much what the name suggests, it overlaps the top edge or lip of the pool, and needs to be secured by clips. This type of pool liner can be used in an above ground pool, but not in an inground swimmin pool.

The overlap pool liner is easy to size and easy to install. That along with the low cost, makes the overlap pool liner an economical and functional choice.

The second type of pool liner is the beaded pool liner. Now this liner will make your pool look very professional and it can be hard to distinguish this vinyl liner from real tiles. The beaded liner will require more as far as installation and cost goes, but offer many more color choices, many liners look like expensive tile.

The beaded pool liner can breathe new life into an old worn pool. It may not be as cheap as the overlap liner, but it will last for many years.
